An IVR (Interactive Voice Response) menu is a digital system designed to assist callers to connect to the correct department or store location quickly and efficiently. When someone calls your inbound number they will be welcomed and prompted to make their selection through their telephone keypad.
Department IVR Example:
“Hi and Thanks for calling the Fonebox Group. For Sales press 1, for After-Sales Service press 2, to speak with Accounts press 3, or to be connected to our Reception please press 4.”
Locator IVR Example:
“Hi and Thanks for calling the Fonebox Group. For our Brisbane office press 1, for our Sydney office press 2, or for the Melbourne office please press 3.”
