Live Operator Service

Step 1: The Greeting


When a call comes into the Live Operator Service, it is answered by the first available operator.  Callers are greeted by a friendly operator with a welcoming introduction identifying your company. 
Greeting Example:

“Hi and thanks for calling Fonebox Australia. This is James speaking. How can I help you?”


Step 2: Availability


If you’re unavailable, the operator will deflect any enquiries with lines such as -
Availability Example:


“Sorry, I don’t have that information. Can I take a message for you and have someone call you back?”

“Mark is unavailable at the moment. Can I take a message and have him return your call?”


Step 3: Take a Message


If the caller wishes to leave a message, Live Operator will send an email and SMS to the appropriate people within your team.

We can also configure some more advanced features:
  • Questions: Individualised questions and answers specified by you.
  • Multi-Contact: SMS/Email configurations can be supplied for multiple contacts and sent to the appropriate person or department accordingly, be it landline or mobile.
