What's an IVR?

Put simply, if you have a number of departments, branches or store locations and want one central inbound number to advertise, we can create a Simple IVR.

IVR Routing connects your callers directly to the department, branch or store that resolves their enquiry.  Incoming calls can be directed (routed) to any number at any time, whether in the same building, interstate, or overseas.

How does it work?

Your customer will call your inbound number from any phone in Australia.  They will hear a Welcome IVR, which will then proceed to list each department or store location and give them the option of being connected straight through.

Callers connect to their correct department by selecting from a menu using "press options".  For example: "press 1 for accounts, 2 for service ..." or "press 1 for Mossman, 2 for Bondi Junction ..."

You can also choose to have your callers automatically connected to the nearest branch from where they're calling.  Alternatively you can provide your callers the freedom to select which branch they wish to be connected to as they enter the relevant post-code.
