What's an Inbound Store Locator?
The Fonebox Store Locator is a central digital call routing system. It lets your customer select their most convenient location using their 4 digit postcode. When the customer dials your number/s from anywhere in Australia from either Landline or Mobile phone, they are prompted to enter a postcode of their choosing. The call is then routed to the closest location based on the postcode entered and your call distribution map.
For example: "Hi and thanks for calling Fonebox. To be connected to your nearest office, please enter your 4-digit postcode." The caller enters postcode 4000 (Brisbane CBD) and is connected to our Brisbane CBD office.
If the customer has multiple locations within a specific postcode region, they would be prompted with a "split level IVR" (another message). A perfect example of this would be in a shopping centre. If the client enters the postcode for the shopping centre in which there were two outlets, it would say: "We currently have 2 locations within this region. For our store on Level 2 next to the Cinemas, press 1. Or for our store located on the ground floor, please press 2."
